Have a Maine Coon. He had fleas really bad this summer. He lost half his weight and a lot of his hair. Vet said hormones is what caused his hair and weight. He gave him 2 shots and some pills. He took my cat forever to feel better, but the part that upset me the most is the old man that's the vet there continue to argue with me saying my cat was a female. He's the one that "neutered" him a year and a half ago. Not going back there unless I really have to.
