Your birds are NOT tame, you are running a pet store, not a wild animal store. Your animals need to be handled other then when youre feeding them or selling them.
i love e&l!! i've been going here my whole life. super friendly and helpful people. large assortment of fish, tons of fish supplies and care items too. :) plenty of things for dogs and cats. plenty of birds, mice, hamsters, and guinea pigs. occasionally have chinchillas and ferrets. good reptile and amphibian sections too: pacman frogs, bearded dragons, geckos of all sorts, tree frogs, and scorpions. love it here!!

I was passing through Madisonville and needed to get a bag of Science diet for my dog. I am a truck driver and it is hard to find a place where I can park my truck at a pet store. I called and they had what I was looking for only one problem, they opened at 10 am and it was 9. I had to get going and explained the situation to the employee. He let me in early to get what I needed. Excellent customer service.
You have a great selection of stuff and good looking animals but they're wild. Maybe you should make sure your employees do something other then stand around most of the day, talking to each other. you should hire someone even if just part time to come in and work with the animals so they're friendly, i just invested in a creature i am going to have for 10 years at least who i cant touch without blood being drawn or fear of him hurting himself because hes a scared of a humans touch.
